the babe cave

This one was a Pinterest dream come true. The assignment was to turn a detached ADU into a clubhouse, where the girls living in Ohana House could hang out, socialize, work, cook, watch The Bachelor.

As I built the mood board, I found this great neon pink “babe cave” light that really inspired me. I wanted the space to feel like one of those really cool lounge-y clubs that I used to frequent back when I was young and fun. Ohana House is big on fun. On making sure that sober doesn’t mean boring. I strove to create a place that yelled fun from every corner. A place that created a real vibe, like some of my most favorite bars and coffee shops had. The black accent wall is complimented with bright colors and natural woods. Each piece of furniture is unique but easily makes friends with it’s neighbors. That bougie thrift shop look that Anthropologie pulls off so well. The space was an absolute dream to put together, and if I didn’t have a husband and children, I probably would have just moved in.
